The Bankruptcy Legal industry offers Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 cases for flat fees as a standard practice. Almost all firms have priced their services similarly so there is not that much of a difference. You will find a typical Chapter 7 will be priced from $1,000 to $2,000 plus a filing fee of $306. Our firm’s pricing for Chapter 7’s falls within this range.  The actual price often depends on the complexity of your case.  At the end of our free consultation, we will provide you with pricing for your case. 

Warning: Be wary of firms that advertise rates lower than this range. This is usually a sign that they are either a “high-volume/scarcely accessible” firm OR a sign that the firm is struggling to get clients. Our advice is to hire the attorney that you will enjoy working with or the one you have the most confidence in. This approach is better than trying to save a little money and ending up with “buyer’s remorse.”
